Garfield has over twenty years’ experience as a lawyer in the technology sector, joining a well-known New York law firm specialising in telecommunications work shortly after completing his Master’s degree in intellectual property and information technology law.
He is an internationally recognised technology law expert and former partner and head of information technology and outsourcing in a top-10 international law firm. He has worked around the world on technology transactions but has spent extended periods in Brussels, Paris, New York, Houston and Silicon Valley. He has also sat on the board of a number of well-known UK technology companies and is well respected across the technology industry for his robust and pragmatic legal and commercial advice.
Garfield’s interests include German cars, French wine and running around after his two small children. It has been over ten years since Garfield led his law firm’s band to win the “Law Rocks” competition at the 100 Club in London.
