Caroline Hughes
Senior Solicitor Head of Commercial Technology, Data and Media
Caroline has been a practising solicitor for over 20 years having trained and qualified in the information technology and intellectual property team in a large international law firm. She first started working with Garfield Smith in 2003.
In addition to being an extremely capable lawyer she has, since formally joining in 2016, brought her depth of knowledge and experience of growing early stage companies to the firm’s clients. This includes having led the growth in annual revenue of an intellectual property business from $5 million to $20 million in two years and founding and successfully fundraising for her own retail fintech business.
When not running and advising early stage technology businesses, Caroline enjoys live music.
